The US Filtermaxx 2,400G centrifuge is our most popular model — powerful, reliable and proven. This WMO centrifuge outperforms all other 120V centrifuges in its class.

Specifications:

  • G-force: 2,400G
  • Bowl capacity: 1 gallon displacement (165 cubic inches sludge capacity)
  • Throughput: 360–1,000 gallons per day depending on fluid and contamination level
  • Feed rate: 10–40 GPH
  • Input: 1/4 inch NPT
  • Output: 1-1/4 inch NPT
  • Spindle: 1 inch diameter with replaceable bearings (load carried by spindle, not motor bearings)
  • Body: 1 inch thick aluminum for rigidity and minimal vibration
  • Rotor: Machined aircraft-grade aluminum casting
  • Bowl removal: Quick-release spindle — under 1 minute
  • Machine weight: 120 lbs nominal
  • Assembly: some assembly required — approx. 30–60 minutes
  • Footprint: Fits on top of a 55-gallon drum
  • Power: 120V or 240V single phase (select when ordering) — 6 ft power whip with 3-prong plug (120V) or NEMA L6-20P twist-lock plug (240V)
  • Motor: 3/4 HP industrial TEFC

Key features:

  • Submicron particulate removal
  • Forced ventilation — exhausts vapors from waste oil and biodiesel processing, prevents water vapor contamination of clean oil, vents methanol vapors
  • Internal dam separates clean and dirty oil
  • Belt overdrive system — rotor spins at high speed while motor runs at 1,800 RPM for quieter, cooler, longer-lasting operation
  • Optional automatic controllers (Basic or Deluxe) — cycle and drain sludge for unattended operation up to 1,000 gallons per day

Designed, made and tested in USA.

Typical applications:

  • WVO, WMO, black diesel, biodiesel, hydraulic fluid, lube oil, transmission fluid
  • Fuel polishing, oil cleaning, algae concentration
  • Home, farm, shop and small commercial use

Add an optional inline heater to thin cold or heavy waste oil for maximum throughput and performance.

⚠ Never introduce liquid into an empty bowl at full speed. Fill the bowl during start-up acceleration to prevent bowl imbalance.

Centrifugal separation effectiveness depends on the particle class being separated:

  • 100–1,500G — Macro/Cellular: whole cells, sand, large debris
  • 1,500–10,000G — Microbial/Organelle: bacteria, fine emulsions, oil contamination
  • 10,000–30,000G — Subcellular: mitochondria, DNA precipitates

Higher G-force provides better separation quality for finer particles — not necessarily higher flow rate.

Vibration isolator option — select it when ordering to add 4 isolator feet (CST-313), or add them later.

Special PTFE seals are available if needed for your application — request a quote or call 601.651.0007.

Explosion proof option: 1 HP explosion proof motor rated Class I Group D, Class II Group F&G, T3B for hazardous locations.
