The most powerful US Filtermaxx centrifuge. The 10,000G produces 8.3 times the separation power of a direct drive centrifuge — for real one-pass cleaning that no other small industrial centrifuge can match.

At 9,500 RPM bowl speed generating 10,000G, this machine operates at the upper boundary of the Microbial/Organelle separation range and begins entering the Subcellular range — pulling sub-micron particulates, water, glycerin, soap, bacteria and fine emulsions that lower G-force centrifuges simply cannot remove in a single pass.

Lab tests showed biodiesel settled 24 hours contained 5,000+ ppm water and glycerin. After polishing in the US Filtermaxx 10,000G centrifuge, water and glycerin dropped to 800 ppm — a 625% improvement in quality. When you see the water and glycerin dump, you'll be shocked at what you've been leaving in your fuel.

A favorite for algae harvesting — 2.7 liter bowl capacity, large open bowl you can reach into for easy paste removal. Collects nearly 5.5 times as much algae per bowl as typical small algae centrifuges.

Vibration isolator option — select it when ordering to add 4 isolator feet (CST-313), or add them later.

Includes VFD (variable frequency drive) as standard — allows the operator to adjust speed for different fluids, viscosities and separation targets. Soft start protects the bowl and extends bearing life.

Specifications:

  • G-force: 10,000G
  • Bowl speed: 9,500 RPM
  • Motor speed: 1,800–2,200 RPM (belt overdrive)
  • Bowl capacity: 1 gallon displacement (165 cubic inches sludge capacity)
  • Algae capacity: 2.7 liters per bowl
  • Throughput: 360–1,000 gallons per day depending on fluid and contamination level
  • Feed rate: 10–40 GPH
  • Input: 1/4 inch NPT
  • Output: 1-1/4 inch NPT
  • Power: 240V single-phase input — VFD drives the 3-phase motor. 6 ft power whip with NEMA L6-20P twist-lock plug (requires a NEMA L6-20R receptacle)
  • Motor: 1.5 HP TEFC industrial electric with VFD — soft start, variable speed
  • Spindle: 1 inch diameter with replaceable bearings — load carried by spindle, not motor bearings
  • Body: 1 inch thick aluminum casting for rigidity, safety and minimal vibration
  • Rotor: Machined aircraft-grade aluminum casting
  • Bowl removal: Quick-release spindle — under 1 minute
  • Machine weight: 130 lbs nominal
  • Assembly: some assembly required — approx. 30–60 minutes
  • Footprint: Fits on top of a 55-gallon drum
  • Custom builds available for specific applications

Key features:

  • 10,000G / 9,500 RPM — extreme submicron particulate removal, 8.3x the power of direct drive
  • Variable speed with soft start VFD — included standard. Adjust G-force for any fluid type or separation target
  • Belt overdrive system — rotor runs at 9,500 RPM while motor runs at 1,800–2,200 RPM for quieter, cooler, longer-lasting operation
  • Separate centrifuge spindle — NOT direct drive. Motor bearings never exposed to WVO, WMO or sludge
  • Forced ventilation — exhausts vapors from waste oil and biodiesel processing, prevents water vapor condensation in clean oil, vents methanol vapors
  • Internal dam — separates clean and dirty oil zones inside the bowl
  • Heavy-duty 1 inch thick aluminum body — built to last. US Filtermaxx centrifuges have been in continuous service for over 15 years
  • Large open bowl — big enough to reach into for easy algae paste or sludge removal
  • Optional automatic controllers (Basic or Deluxe) — cycle and drain sludge before overflow for unattended operation up to 1,000 gallons per day
  • Add an optional inline heater for maximum performance on cold or heavy waste oil

Typical applications:

  • WMO / black diesel — extreme filtration below 1 micron for injection pump protection
  • Biodiesel polishing — water and glycerin to below 800 ppm in one pass
  • WVO — feedstock preparation and direct fuel use
  • Algae harvesting — the most powerful small algae centrifuge available
  • Hydraulic oil, lube oil, transmission fluid reclamation
  • Diesel fuel polishing
  • Critical purity applications where 2,400G or 3,000G is not sufficient

⚠ Never introduce liquid into an empty bowl at full speed. Fill the bowl during start-up acceleration to prevent bowl imbalance.

Centrifugal separation effectiveness depends on the particle class being separated:

  • 100–1,500G — Macro/Cellular: whole cells, sand, large debris
  • 1,500–10,000G — Microbial/Organelle: bacteria, fine emulsions, oil contamination
  • 10,000–30,000G — Subcellular: mitochondria, DNA precipitates

Higher G-force provides better separation quality for finer particles — not necessarily higher flow rate.
