Industrial high-speed cylinder centrifuge for continuous three-phase separation at 316 GPH. Built for clarifying liquids, separating difficult emulsions of two liquids with light concentrations of suspended solids and a small differential in specific gravity.

At 15,700G and 16,300 RPM with a 2.1 gallon (8 liter) 304 stainless steel bowl, this machine delivers precise liquid-liquid-solid separation across a wide range of fluid types. Two interchangeable components give the operator full control over the separation zone:

• 3 interchangeable separating rings of different diameters control the separation boundary between the two liquid phases in the top of the cylinder
• 4 interchangeable feed nozzles in the bottom of the centrifuge body control input flow rate

Choosing between the 316 GPH and 400 GPH models:

Both centrifuges are built for the same three-phase separation applications, but they trade throughput for rotational performance in opposite directions:

• 316 GPH (this model) — 5HP, 16,300 RPM, 15,700G — higher rotational speed means greater centrifugal force per unit of bowl radius, better suited for very fine particle separations, tight specific gravity differentials, and viscous fluids that need more residence time at high G to release their solids
• 400 GPH model — 4HP, 15,000 RPM, 15,860G — higher throughput for the same G-force range; the right choice when volume is the priority and the separation is not at the extreme end of difficulty

If your process sits at the edge of what a centrifuge can separate — very similar fluid densities, very fine solids, or highly emulsified streams — the 316 GPH model's higher RPM gives you more headroom. If you need to move more volume and your separation is moderately challenging, the 400 GPH model is the better value.
